Tagged Under : Bedroom Decor, Bedroom Decorating Ideas
The full amount of bedroom decorating ideas accessible out there merely mean that there is no means for you to fall short of creative solutions. Although this might be right, we as well need to consider the fact that simply trusting on our private orientations alone is inadequate and we should take concern to count our allowable budget as well.
Besides that, don’t forget to take a look at how much room you have to decorate with, so that you will be able to fully utilize your resources. This will help to decide the type and amount of furniture and other items that you will be able to use without making the space too cramped or uncomfortable. Make your bedroom a place where you can thoroughly find comfort and relaxation in.
To say it in short, find out the right balance that would go great with the available room space you have, then plan the style that you would enjoy the most. Popular beddings change from region to region but examples of some of them include Meditterranean bedding, olden English bedding, and much more.
Once you have finished selecting the style you want, you can the consider researching some great bedroom interior design tips to help you get the perfect look you so desire. Here is a neat little example for you. Let’s say you were going to decorate your room in the Victorian style. Then you would want to consider the following tips.
The Victorian style has a rather feminine feel about it, so bedroom decorating in this style will primarily be enjoyed by women. So, right now you may want to turn your main bedroom into a Victorian palace. But there are certain things you will want to consider as well. Make sure that your spouse likes this theme as well, as it can be a bit over the top sometimes. The bed will most probably comprise of a big four-poster of cast iron or wood. It will carry a canopy, curtains, throw pillows and blankets, and a bed covering which is comfortably graced with figures, fringe, stems, and threads. Adorning room modes such as Victorian may also take on a essential mountain of accessorizing, such as with tremendous, extreme rugs, blooming floras, and ornate gold builds adjacent paintings of efflorescences, birdies, nestling, or maidens. Regardless the chamber adorning themes you employ, as long as you continue sharpened and travel along undeviating, you are positive to relish the ultimate accomplishment.

Go to Lowe's (they are much more friendly than Home Depot) and browse the different design books in the paint section and interior design sections to get free ideas.

i am a mother of two teenagers a clean a house for a living with 2 teenagers and always some teen aged guest in the guest rooms and i have discovered through the years what teens like male or female,
so here is what you do…
through some dirty smelly socks all over and don't forget behind and under the furniture then add some wet towels use a variety of colors put some dirty dishes on the night stands and tv make sure some of them are milk glasses then through folded up clothes all around then kick them around a bit then open the closet pull some garments off the hangers some part way off and some all the way off add some half empty squished up bags of chips then kick it around and then through in some belts and shoes kick them around be sure to kick them in the clothes enough so you don't see them you know enough to trip over rub your hands and bare feet in some good black dirt and then rub them all over the walls stick some chewed up gum on the walls and night stands leave some snotty toilet paper wods every where and last but not least through in some dirty underwear to spice things up they will love it!!!!
The thing that is going to "refresh" your room the most and give it the best new look is going to be the bedding. That makes your bedding top priority, so you should set aside most of the money for that. These are a few of my suggestions that should change it up the most for the least amount of money:
4-piece set that includes comforter, bedskirt, and two shams.

8-piece set includes duvet cover, 2 euro shams, bedskirt and 2 decorative pillows. This one is my favorite and the least expensive at $59.99

Your accents should be a bold color, to help play up the modern look, but they also need to correspond with your bedding. For the mirror (I'm assuming you meant a wall mirror) I found this.
$18.00 black wall mirror:

For the clock, I love this one, and I think it will really help with the modern feel:

To soothe the tone a little and make it a more relaxing atmosphere, I reccomend one of these candlegardens:

You also might consider getting posters or wall art and maybe a floor plant (like a palm tree). For the posters, go to
http://www.art.com/
They have a lot of really nice, inexpensive posters. Some come in frames.
Good luck and I hope I helped!
we did paint several lofts. if you would like to you need to go to the paint store and get some paint samples. they come on little cards. some of them peel off and you can stick it to the wall and step back to see what the color looks like against the flooring. you can do faux finish with sea sponges and use 3 different paint colors. the 3 colors should be different shades from light to dark. you can put the dark color as the base color. they have books in the store with rooms painted so you can have an idea. Lowe's and Home Depot have the same thing. the color is up to what fancies you the most. as far as finding furniture you should check out roomstogo.com that is rooms to go. they have great furniture at reasonable prices and they have financing. there are also rent to own furniture stores in our town check to see if you have any near you. my sister has furnished her entire house minus the kitchen table from one of those stores. her house is fabulous. it looks as if she went to a major furniture store to get her furniture. there are beds that have very low frames that put you near the floor. you can also make your own with plywood and put furniture backing and then fabric over it. it is a do it your self project. the head board would be against the wall so you can staple the fabric to the wood with a staple gun. they make some other than the silver ones that hurt. i bought a grey one with black handle that had comfort grip they cost around 13 bucks at Lowe's or Home Depot. good luck.

Photo collage of you and your friends/family.
Cut out any size out of thin cardboard. (a cereal box works great)
To make the hanger, punch two holes 1/2 inch apart 1 inch from the top in the center,
(where a hanger is on the back of a frame)
thread the ends of a twisty tie (the paper covered wire used to close bread) thru the holes, turn cardboard over, make a loop and twist the ends together.
You can glue photos side by side or overlapping.
or a multi-pc frame
